Jay and I just got back from a 7 day vacation in Hawaii. It was AMAZING! We had a celebratory dinner in place of a wedding/honeymoon that we never had. This picture was taken at a
restaurant called the Beach House. It is labeled one of the most romantic
restaurants in the world. It was fabulous!

We got lucky and saw an amazing sunset. It was the clearest night we had all vacation.

Jay was very excited that our rental car was a Mustang!

I was just very excited to be in warm weather!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt on the South shore, it was AMAZING. This is the view from our room. They had a pool that winded down the gradual hill towards the ocean. It has a slight current and a
water slide. There was also a saltwater pool that connected to the ocean.

Jay and I hiked around the beach every morning. There was a ton of trails that left the beach we stayed on. We were very exhausted by the time we went back for breakfast.

This was our first morning there. The weather was great all but one day.

This
restaurant was known for their
leeche sangria. Jay loved it and said it was amazing. They came to your table and made it fresh
every time you ordered a glass.

Playing in the ocean!! The beach in front of the hotel was very private so it wasn't busy ever!

He got a little to close!!!

We went to a luau at the hotel on Thursday. They are know for one of the best on the island. It was great. They made all the February birthday's go up on stage and dance. It was great, Jay was an awesome sport!

We didn't have one meal that was bad! All the food was amazing and we ate at some really cool places.

One day we drove to the North shore. We drove until the road ended. (You can't drive all the way around Kauai) This is the dry cave on one of the beaches. It was really neat to be able to walk all the way in.

This was the wet cave. It was about 10 miles North of the dry cave and it was at the end of the road.

Roosters were EVERYWHERE!!! They started to get irritating at the end of the trip but they sure are beautiful. And we did see a couple cock fights, very entertaining!

This is the view from the
restaurant at the hotel called
Tidepools. We had another amazing meal with a great
ambiance.

The day after it rained there were huge snails all over the road by our hotel. Jay managed to smash one on our hike but it was hard not to because there were so many.

Another morning hike. Amazing views everywhere we went!!!
