Catching Up
We have been quite busy and blogging hasn't been a priority. I am sorry to everyone who lives far away and relies on my blogging to keep up with us. So here it goes....
Jack has been quite the little roller the past month. He often rolls to the brick in the house and starts pounding away with whatever toy he has in his hand. The past week he has actually started crawling!! YEAH and oh no at the same time. He and Conner are now into EVERYTHING, and life has gotten crazy for me. I feel like I chase and say no alot.
Jack is also starting to eat alot of table food. He is growing up so quickly!!
Conner helped me decorate cupcakes about three weeks ago. He was more into sucking the frosting off the tops!
The other day I went to put Jack down for a nap and when I came out, Conner had dumped all the toys and made the bucket his train!
Jack is everywhere!!! He also has a fascination with the toilet now that he is mobile. Oh, the places he go's!
And of course, when Jack gets camera time, Conner wants in on it.
Conner has become quite the painter in the last two weeks!! He will set there and paint for an hour if you let him.

His aprons a little big but its saving the clothes!
This past Friday, Jay and his guys came and got the last to major pieces of equipment from the old shop. Slowly but surely the shop is almost completely gone from our home, YEAH!!! Although we do miss having lunch with Jay everyday!
Aside from work and the boys getting into EVERYTHING ( and I do mean everything) we have started and are partway through the remodel on the house. What started out as carpet and paint has turned into us gutting the entire side of the house and part of the garage. I am not complaining, the house will look gorgeous when its done! Jay and I are getting ready to take a honeymoon/wedding trip to Hawaii in about two weeks and I can't wait. Things are busy here as usual!!!

Alderman Christmas
We were very lucky that Jay got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us. We didn't think he was going to make it. Christmas Eve has always been the big nite at my parents. We had a blast.
The men conversed while my mom, my sister, and I put dinner together.
The tradition on Christmas Eve is just to have a whole bunch of appetizers set on the island in the kitchen. We all circle around and snack on them till its time to open gifts.
Conner was all about helping Memay get ready.
He was more like the taste tester!
Jack, Conner, and Mac enjoyed a little lemon and lime left over from the Martini's!
Mac is quite the vocal little guys these days!!
He was talking up a storm with the guys and just about anyone.
Conner was persistent about getting a drink of Jay's Margatini so here is the outcome....
He decided to stick to apple juice!!!
Auntie E and Conner have dinner. When all the food was on the counter, Conner got up on his stool, and with the most classic look on his face he yelled, "DINNER". It was hilarious, he couldn't believe we got to eat off of everyplate standing up at the counter!
Mac bounced himself around the kitchen while we ate. And by that I mean literally, he bounced the bouncy chair around the island!
And this is the classic Mac face that he makes all the time. We think he does it because Erin hates it so much!!!
Jay had to help Memay because Jack wanted her martini pretty bad!
We had to watch Conner because he likes to sample then put stuff back!
And then it was time to open gifts, Conner could barely contain himself.
All Jack was interested in was the tissue paper!
And then came the big gift of the night.....
And then he got his first bike/tri-cycle.
He was pretty stoked. I don't know who was more excited, Jay or Conner!
Conner was even really good about letting Memay have a turn!
And then they rode together. The really cool thing about the bike is it has foot pedals on the back for a rider to stand on. I know in a couple short years the boys will be flying around together.

Conner and Memay Christmas morning.
