My AMAZING Husband

So Jay came home last night and mentioned that a builder he works for, Renz Construction, was featured in a magazine called "Tri-City Builders Showcase Magazine". He continued to say that a house Jay and his guys did custom handrails at was included in the magazine. The above picture is the page that showcases Jay's rails that were done inside the home. Jay also did rails outside the home which I had seen. So, this morning I picked up the magazine to flip through it. I was blown away when I came to this page. I have known that my husband is very talented but I couldn't believe the handrails in this home. I am a very blessed woman to have such a TALENTED designer, fabricator, and business man for a husband. I love you Jay!!!

Evening Activity

This is about all we do at the Brantingham's lately. Jay drives one four wheeler with Jack. And Conner and I are on the other. The boys love it and so do Jay and I. We usually take Cypress for about 15-20 minutes then we come back, lock him up, and take off again. It usually ends up being 2 hours or more each night.

Last weekend my sister and I hosted a baby shower for my Sister-in-law. My sisters house was the perfect place and the evening went great. We had 25 people RSVP and everyone showed!!! It was very busy but I think everyone had a great time. It was a cocktail/mocktail theme.

My best craft creation so far! I am so glad I saved all my formula cans. (Jay wasn't so happy that I stored them) I wrapped cloth around them and they worked great for party favors. I filled each with a plastic shot glass, mini Bacardi or Absolute, a tin filled with either Pina colada or margarita jelly belly's and a mini alcohol filled chocolate. The two bigger cans I filled with Grandma gifts for each grandma. I also forgot to take a picture of the three scrapbooks I made. I made one for each grandma and Shaila. They were filled with baby pictures of Chris and Shaila from 0 - 7 years old.

I didn't mini individual serving samples. We also did a dessert bar instead of the traditional cake and cupcakes. My sister in law likes a strawberry frosted sugar cookie that I make so I made sure we had lots of cookies.

We served 4 different cocktails and 3 mocktails.

Aunt Karen and I enjoying a cocktail. Jay's Aunt stayed with us the entire weekend and we had a blast. Conner was so upset when he woke up the next day and she was gone. He keeps asking me when she is coming back. Jay's grandpa also stayed with us. It was a very busy yet exciting weekend. Congratulations Chris and Shaila, we can't wait to meet the little guy!!! Love you both lots!!!

Shut downs

Jay has been working alot of shutdowns lately so the boys and I have been home alone for some long weekends!! So, I have let Conner paint alot lately.

A couple of the weekends I was scrap booking and preparing for a shower I was throwing for my sister-in-law so I set up Conner and Jack in my craft room.

Conner enjoyed all of his painting while Jack enjoyed lots of treats and a little bit of Olivia on my computer! It made part of the day very productive for me!

Mac's 1st Birthday

I am a little behind on my posting so here go's the catch up. It's almost been a month since Mac's 1st birthday and where did the time go.

He is getting so big so fast and is quite the mover!!!

He talks all the time and it is great. Some of the faces and sounds he makes are hilarious! He truly is a bundle of joy!!!

Jack and Mac and pretty cute these days. One is always trying to hug the other when the other doesn't want it! Happy Birthday Mac!!!
