Cannon Beach

After my  sisters shower on Saturday, Jay took me to Cannon Beach for a couple of days!  We had a great time just the two of us!!!  It was a great Birthday suprise.  Thank you dear, you spoil me!!! I love you lots!!!

Auntie E's Baby Shower

Last weekend I hosted a baby shower for my sister at our home.  It was a blast to plan and prepare!  Our theme was "lil pumpkin".  It turned out pretty cute and was fun to have a fall theme.

I totally got carried away with hosting that I forgot to take pictures of the shower actually taking place! Opps! I hope everyone had a great time.  E got lots of great gifts.  We can't wait to meet Tebay #2!

Dinner with Uncle Mike

Two weekends ago we had Uncle Mike over for dinner.  We haven't had dinner with Mike in while, so as you can see the boys were so excited.  They played "ball" for about 30 minutes solid.  And all I heard was gut laughing!  It was pretty cute!
Jack has quite the arm.  You definitely don't want to be right in front of him when he lets go!

And yes, Jack is 100% a Daddy's boy!  Whenever our home phone rings he runs to it and yells, "Dada?"  Its pretty cute!

The Country Merchantile for School

Conner's preschool class went out to The Country Mercantile last Thursday for a field trip.  It was a little early for Jack so he is not guy smiley in any picture.  The both needed haircuts BADLY, so you can say these aren't our cutest pictures!
It took Jack a while to warm up then he was ready to get into everything.  These boys are quite the workout these days!

They both loved the ride out to the pumpkin patch.
I was a little nervous for Conner to climb Haystack Mountain.  He did GREAT!  I was so proud of him.  He wanted to stay there all day if they would let him.
And then my camera died! The boys both loved the petting zoo and the cookie and juice that followed.  It was a chilly day but sunny.  We all had a great time!

Pumpkin Patch 2011 Part One

The boys and I went to Job's nursery by our farm house in Pasco on Saturday. We got lots of pumpkins. Jack was thrilled as you can see!
Conner is getting so grown up. He was very excited to pick out lots of different colored pumpkins.
And Jack just wanted to play with the sprinklers!
Conner found a great pumpkin.... then we turned around and a girl came right up picked it up and walked off with it. He was devastated.
When we got home the boys rode in their Jeep. Our backyard is unfinished so Conner loves driving over the dirt mounds.
My boys are getting so big!!!

Conner is very into riding his tricycle all the time.
And Jack's still pushing!!! I tried to keep the boys very busy this weekend with fun activities because Jay was working a shut down. We are headed into that time of year when we don't see much of Jay. But much to his surprise, both boys were up at 3:30am to see him out the door this morning. Lucky for me, I got to spend the day with them and their great attitudes!!!

Fall is Here, Applesause time!!!

A couple weeks ago, Memay came from Ellensburg with lots of apples to make applesause! We have made it a tradition to make all the sause at my sisters house. Here are the boy's eating the first batch. I think its all they ate most of the day.

And yes, Jack took a bite out of each apple and then put them back. Even better, he doesn't care for apples so there were bite size pieces spit back into the box. It was a very productive day of making lots of applesause!

Fall Update

Here are our not so little "little boys"! They LOVE bath time!
Conner decorated my birthday cake for me. It had lots of sprinkles!
He was very proud of it.
We had donuts for a special birthday breakfast!

Uncle Brock's Birthday was Monday so we celebrated it the same day as mine since he was in town! Happy Birthday Uncle Brock, we love you!!!
It was wonderful to have all of my family over for dinner. We went to Red Robin for dinner. Auntie E, Mac, and Uncle Cal were there to.... until Mac got sick at the table, sorry Mac!
Sunday was the first day Jack sat at the table. He is pretty excited to be sitting with us at the table now. Goodbye highchair, at least for 8 months or so. Yesterday when I was done working in our home office I came out to find these post it's all over the walls. When I asked Conner what they were for, he informed me that he marked all the area's where somebody might bonk their head!
Things are busy as usual at the Brantingham home. Conner is still loving school and swim lessons. Jack is enjoying playing in all the mud and dirt outside our new home, he will be sad when they finally plant grass. Jay is busy as ever with work and building his second shop. I have cut back on working to just one day a week at the office and the remainder of the time I work from home. I am planning a baby shower for my sister next weekend so it is taking up much of my time. Life is good. Oh, and by the way our little girl will be named " Stella Jo Brantingham"
