The Past and Present

FINALLY, Pictures with Mommy!!

We do love our "Mommy" time at night. Last week we finally started a nite routine. Conner goes to bed at 8. Jay and I bathe him and read to him then its time to chill with his fishies in the crib(Conner has a baby einstein aquarium)!

This was Conner's first trip to Grandma and Grandpa's House. Conner loved it except for he wasn't quite sure about Lily! I am sure Conner will love chasing her next summer!!

Yesterday I took Conner outside to see Grandpa. Conner smiled and laughed and kept talking to Grandpa. I think he see's the similarity between daddy and Grandpa!! Grandpa has worked very hard to put a yard in at our house for Conner!! We are very greatful for all his hardwork! THANK YOU GRANDPA/DAD!!!

We get this face alot!! The "I am not sure what I want" face!

This was the weekend Jay and I planted grass and put beds in before Grandpa seeded the grass!

Our precious time with Grandpa!

The Brantingham Men and a Brantingham boy (or is that two boys and a man!!! ;0)

Aunt Karen who we dearly miss!!! We hope to visit her and Uncle Mike in Brazil within the next year!

Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Brantingham! Conner is very lucky to have great-grandparents that came all the way from the Seattle area to see him!!

These are a colleague of photos I received from Jay's mom this week! She is an excellent photographer!!

10 WEEKS OLD!!!

This was the serious part of the movie!!

Then it got funny!!

Conner loves sittin in his black chair while Mommy works. He talks to me alot and today he was very alert and chatty. Jay and I are enjoying every smile he gives. Today when Jay got back from working in the field, Conner had the biggest smile on his face. When Jay picked him up it turned into a permasmile!!

I often get this look - its the look that Mommy is goofy/crazy!

Then the adorable smile. Prior to this smile I told Conner we were ordering flowers for him to send to Aunt Shaila. When I said her name he started to smile then he giggled. We do wish Auntie Shaila lived closer!!! She bought the adorable t-shirt that Conner is sportin!

Conner has really come alive the past two weeks!! It seems like everyday he smiles more and more. I am looking forward to dressing him up at Halloween. Jay and I are having a halloween party at our house for our friends and their children... I can't wait to post pics!!

Big Boy!!!

Yesterday was Conner's two month check up. He weighed 14 lbs. and was 23 3/4" long. He is a BIG boy!! The doctor said he was very healthy. Conner wasn't very happy the rest of the day though. He had three immunizations, ouch!! Today has been great. I discovered last night that Conner likes to stroll around our property in the "big boy" stroller. Today he helped me (above) while I went outside in the yard to take pictures of steel for one of our customers. He enjoys when Cyprus comes up to the stroller to sniff him. All is well at the Jay Brantingham residence!!

Growing, Growing, Growing!!!

Conner's first time in the grass!! He wasn't sure about the grass at first but he sure loves being outside. Memay helped him stand in the grass. Conner likes to try and stand alot!

Watchin tv with dad!!

Don't my two men look handsome!! Jay's friend Desiree got married at a vineyard last weekend. Conner was on his best behavior. We were very proud of him. One lady at the wedding came up to Jay and then myself later and she said she was very impressed with how proud Jay was of his son. She said she had never seen such a proud daddy!!
Conner favorite place to crash is on daddy's tummy!! I think it's Jay's favorite place for him to be!!
Not quite old enough for the hat!
Jay thinks he looks like a runner in these socks!!!
This wasn't one of Conner's best moments!!

This is George. Conner enjoys napping and sleeping with George. Jay and I love spying/watching Conner talk to George in the mornings when he gets up and at night when he isn't ready to fall asleep yet. When I ask Conner if he's talked to George yet today, he just smiles big!!

Conner is holding his head up for long stretches. He is getting so strong, Jay and I are amazed every day!!

Nothing is better than chillin at Auntie Erin's house!!! Conner is fascinated with the ceiling fan's at Auntie Erin and Uncle Cal's. He spends so much time just staring at the fans!!

These are the first shoe's Conner has worn. And it seems like as soon as I put them on..... he grew out of them!!
As for our family update.... the business is doing awesome. Jay just landed a four-story Gesa Credit Union building with Apollo. It will be our biggest project to date. Jay has also landed many smaller but still big jobs that will keep us slammed through the New Year! So much for a slow season. Grandpa has been working hard on putting in a sprinkler system and grass for our backyard while Jay and I planted trees and worked on beds to plant bushes in next spring. The yard is really coming along nicely! We have also broken ground on our new shop. The land has been leveled and gravel is being brought in tomorrow. Jay, Conner, and I got to go to Ellensburg for Labor Day. We took Conner to his first Rodeo... he slept through the entire thing, we had a blast though. I really enjoyed showing off my amazing husband and perfect son!! Nothing is sweeter in life then being a wife and mother!! Conner is already 7 weeks old and has his two month check up on the 29th (SCARY!!!). Everyone is right when they say they grow up fast!!
