Memay & Papa's Visit

This last week I helped out with Vacation Bible School so my mom came down to stay with us to watch Conner. My dad came down on Thursday to see us and to go to "Cool Desert Nights." We had a wonderful time with Conner's Memay, she spoils all three of us!! While she was here, I friend of my sister's let us use his pool for the day. Conner had a blast!!!
He loves anything with a steering wheel or a horn.

Papa became Conner's best friend because he fed him big bites of cake!

It's always a treat when we get to see Papa for a couple of days!

Conner's morning routine last week included Cheerio breakfast with Memay. She even let him try a little chocolate milk!
He loves to play peek-a-boo with Horton when he gets up from a nap!

Memay decided to borrow Conner's chair! She is so petite and we love her!

I think Popsicles are his new favorite thing!

We had a wonderful yet hectic week. Jay has been working 12 hour days for the past three weeks (including Sat. a& Sunday)! We have missed him alot, but are very thankful that he is a hard worker. We love you Jay! This week is a little bit slower. Conner and I will head to Ellensburg on Wednesday morning to have a play date at my parents house. We are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Father's Day Weekend

HAPPY Father's Day, Jay & David!!! We had Jay's parents over for a father's day dinner and dessert last night. Pauline hadn't seen Conner in a couple of weeks so it was good for them to spend quality time together. Grandma gave Conner a bath while I did dishes. Luckily, Conner gets to see Grandpa at the shop and at our house throughout the week. Grandpa has been doing some electrical work in our garage and he is always out tinkering at the shop when he isn't at work!
Conner is very lucky to have such a hardworking and loving daddy!

Conner got Jay a father's day card that was a fire on a bbq that flashed and played a song! Conner's favorite evening activity is to watch Jay light the bbq (we have a charcoal bbq) so the card was perfect!!

Jay has been working 12+ hour day's with a huge job that he was awarded so we haven't got to see much of him but yesterday he came home around 1pm. We took him to lunch at Red Robin then we strolled around Ranch and Home for a bit. It was very nice to get to spend the afternoon with Jay. He has been working extremely hard and diligently at his work and its paying off. His shop is sooooo busy! Congratulations on the big projects and thank you for working so hard for us sweety!! We love you!!
This is our son when he doesn't get to play with our cellphones!

This is our son with the cell phone!

He is like a kid in a candy store whenever you hand him your cellphone.

Sunday, when we got home from Ranch and Home, Jay took a little nap(he needed and deserved one). While he was napping Conner decided he already missed him and went truckin around the house in his walker determined to find Jay. When he did, Jay was so tired he fell back asleep and when I went in to check on them. Conner was chattin away at Jay. It was a precious moment.

This is what happens when Daddy spoils him!

Conner is very into trying to stand up in his highchair these days. He also tries to make it bounce like his jumper. He is quite the character!

Things are very crazy here at the Brantingham's. Our garage got sheet rocked this week and they are starting to put a fence up. Our house is almost finished, YEAH!! I am back to the books for the business but luckily I am doing them from home and I usually only have to go to the office once or twice a week. We hired a good friend of mine's daughter, Lacey, to answer phones and assist Jay. It is working out wonderful. Happy Father's Day Jay, Conner and I love you lots and are very thankful for all your hard work!

Bath Time

Conner's favorite thing is to either take a bath or swim!

Busy Weekend

This weekend Conner and I went to Clarkston on Saturday with my parents. It was my cousin Justin's wedding reception. My mom was able to see all of her sisters but one and her dad & brother. (Above from Left to Right is my Aunt Kris, Aunt Darla, and Aunt Darci.)

It was great to see my mom's family. We don't get to see them much. My mom has five sisters and one brother. Conner had quite the time making facing and sounds at my mom's dad and my Aunt Darla. Thank you for walking Conner around the yard Aunt Darla, he slept in till 8:15 the next day, YEAH!! Oh, and by the way Aunt Darla, anytime you come to visit, I would love to put you on the blog!!! It was great to see everyone!!
On Sunday, Conner and I traveled to Ellensburg to go to my friend Kayla's baby shower. It was great to see her, it had been 5 years! And now, its back to cleaning house and bookwork!

Conner and I met Jay for lunch at Apple Bee's last week. Conner is always so excited to see "The Daddy Man". I finally got family photo's hung on the wall two weeks ago and there is a picture of Jay and Conner right outside of Conner's room. Every time I take Conner out of his room we have to stop and get all excited to see daddy on the wall. It is the cutest reaction!! (If only Jay could see it!)
Conner didn't have a blankie with him on Saturday morning so I guess Jay's sock would suffice. I swear it was clean!!!!

Jay took us with him on Saturday to La Grande to check out a Semi. Conner loves being put in the drivers seat of Jays truck. Its like a big toy!

Conner is at such an exciting stage right now. We have a new sound or expression everyday. He is 10 months with 7 teeth, he weights 24 pounds and I am not sure of his height (but he is getting big)! I am so blessed to get to spend everyday/all day with him. Thank you for making it possible daddy(Jay)!
