I finally got a hold of Jay's camera and I had the time to download the pics from his trip to Alaska. Since I wasn't there I can't really narrate the pics. I do know they had the time of their lives and our freezer is FILLED with lots of fish!!! I am very thankful they had a great, much needed vacation!!!
I do know this is the cabin they stayed in.
It was a great day from the beginning purely because Jay didn't have to work and we got to spend the entire day with him!!! Jay and Conner watched "Thomas the Train" in bed together.
After cinnamon rolls for breakfast, Conner and Jay headed outside for a sled ride.
Conner is always so excited to get to go outside with Jay. Jay was a great dad and toted Conner around our property on his sled. 
After the sled ride Conner got to drive the forklifts and take a ride on the four wheeler. He was in HEAVEN!
Meanwhile, Jack and I stayed warm inside and ate snacks!
Then we all got ready and relaxed while we waited for family to arrive. I did all my prep the night before and early that morning so we truly enjoyed the day together as a family. It was great and relaxing!
Conner went down for a nap early so Jack got lots of pictures taken.
Jack and Memay! We were very happy that the weather didn't slow anyone down and they all made it!
I don't usually get my pics with the boys so this thanksgiving I made it a point to get great pictures of everyone and I think I did really good. The only thing I realized was that Conner slept so much that we didn't get a ton of pics of him.
Jay explaining all the cool tools he works with and what his new shop has in store for him. I am so excited for him, he gets to move into his new shop this week. It is truly a dream come true for him. Congratulations dear, I am so proud of you!!!
Uncle Brock is always the goofy one! We love him so much and so do the boys. Conner is so excited to see Uncle Boc and talk about his van!
I went kinda retro on the table this year so I could use my green fiestaware!
My Wonderful loving husband! I am so lucky to have someone who takes great care of the boys and I. We look forward to the shop being done so we can see him more!!!

We were very excited that Shaila was able to fly to make it to Thanksgiving. We really wish her new hubby Chris could have made it!!!
This Thanksgiving we are very thankful for David, Jays dad. Without him, our new shop wouldn't have been possible. He has helped in so many ways!! Thank you David for all you do, we APPRECIATE everything. And thank you for all you do at the house, my new fans and lights are GREAT... I couldn't have asked for a better father-in -law. Thank you!!!

My dad and his brother, Uncle Louie. We were very blessed to have them join us this Thanksgiving. They are truly the best Aunt and Uncle. Love you both lots!

It seems so easy to get photos of the boys in the bath right now. I think its because I don't have to try to contain them. Conner is usually to involved in his trains to smile at the camera and Jack is more focused on rolling away from me!
Jack is getting quite the mouth full of teeth. He is changing so much in the past weeks. He talks/does this high pitch scream ALL the time. The scream was cute at first and now it is on the verge of irritating. But I have to say, I LOVE every minute of it. 
We went to Cal and E's the other night for dinner. Needless to say, Mac and Cal didn't make it very long. Little Mac is getting so big. He had his 6 month checkup last week and is doing great. He is more of a talker than Jack. He always has a wonderful smile for us when we see him. 
E tried Mac's hats on Jack. It was pretty funny. Both my boys are really good huggers. Conner tries to hug the "hebbie jebbies" out of everyone right now and Jack just grabs your hair as hard as he can.
I look at these photos and can't believe how big the boys are getting. Jay and I were looking back at photos of Conner when he was Jack's age and can't believe how old Conner is. We sorted through some clothes that Conner wore at Jack's age and we felt like we had just packaged those up not to long ago - the reality hit of how close they are in age! We are all finally back to normal and enjoy this slow week before the holiday's hit!!!
Wow..the boys are getting so big so fast! Jack is sitting up all on his own and trying to crawl. He is already trying to pull himself up as well. Jack is in awe of Conner all of the time and Conner loves Jack about 90% of the time. 
My goal for the upcoming year - to get both of them to smile at me at the same time!
They are both really good at the cheese ball grin!

We put a stool next to Jack's crib and Conner loves to go get Jack whenever he wakes up! Sometimes I don't get to Conner soon enough and he wakes Jack up early!
