Father's Day Weekend

HAPPY Father's Day, Jay & David!!! We had Jay's parents over for a father's day dinner and dessert last night. Pauline hadn't seen Conner in a couple of weeks so it was good for them to spend quality time together. Grandma gave Conner a bath while I did dishes. Luckily, Conner gets to see Grandpa at the shop and at our house throughout the week. Grandpa has been doing some electrical work in our garage and he is always out tinkering at the shop when he isn't at work!
Conner is very lucky to have such a hardworking and loving daddy!

Conner got Jay a father's day card that was a fire on a bbq that flashed and played a song! Conner's favorite evening activity is to watch Jay light the bbq (we have a charcoal bbq) so the card was perfect!!

Jay has been working 12+ hour day's with a huge job that he was awarded so we haven't got to see much of him but yesterday he came home around 1pm. We took him to lunch at Red Robin then we strolled around Ranch and Home for a bit. It was very nice to get to spend the afternoon with Jay. He has been working extremely hard and diligently at his work and its paying off. His shop is sooooo busy! Congratulations on the big projects and thank you for working so hard for us sweety!! We love you!!
This is our son when he doesn't get to play with our cellphones!

This is our son with the cell phone!

He is like a kid in a candy store whenever you hand him your cellphone.

Sunday, when we got home from Ranch and Home, Jay took a little nap(he needed and deserved one). While he was napping Conner decided he already missed him and went truckin around the house in his walker determined to find Jay. When he did, Jay was so tired he fell back asleep and when I went in to check on them. Conner was chattin away at Jay. It was a precious moment.

This is what happens when Daddy spoils him!

Conner is very into trying to stand up in his highchair these days. He also tries to make it bounce like his jumper. He is quite the character!

Things are very crazy here at the Brantingham's. Our garage got sheet rocked this week and they are starting to put a fence up. Our house is almost finished, YEAH!! I am back to the books for the business but luckily I am doing them from home and I usually only have to go to the office once or twice a week. We hired a good friend of mine's daughter, Lacey, to answer phones and assist Jay. It is working out wonderful. Happy Father's Day Jay, Conner and I love you lots and are very thankful for all your hard work!

Amy, thanks for working so hard on keeping this up. It's so great for some of us who don't get to see him..It just makes me smile to see what's happening in your lives. Hope to see you soon (maybe the family reunion)...
