Conner's 1st Birthday!

Uncle Brock and Memay & Papa came early so Conner got to spend some quality time with them before the party began. It was great for me because I got to tie up all the lose ends.

Jay worked really hard all afternoon to prepare the shrimp & the bbq's.

By the time Conner started opening presents he was very tired so Corinne helped him. She is a great little helper.

Kylie also helped Conner. Conner and Kylie had quite the time playing together before everyone ate. We wished she lived closer!

Uncle Louie and Aunt Jane (my Aunt and Uncle) got Conner his first Jack-In-the-Box. He is quite fascinated with it.

Jay and I got Conner the sand box for his birthday. He still isn't quite sure of the sand and its been really hot here so we haven't used it much.

And then it was time for cake!

Auntie Erin fed him cake while Jessica, Brooke, Traci and I cut and served the cake.

Conner's party was fish themed so I made a three layer from scratch cake. The bottom and top layers were chocolate. And the middle was vanilla.

Conner's 1st birthday turned out wonderful. We had alot of family and friends to help us celebrate. He got spoiled in the presents department. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. Happy First Birthday Conner, Mommy and Daddy love you lots.

And a special thanks to my sister for the wonderful flowers to remind me of the birth of my first child!!

Boat Race Weekend

This last weekend the hydro races were in the Tri-Cities. We took Conner with us and our neighbors Brooke and Cameron. Jay sister was also in town for Conner's birthday so she came along with us. Conner is very into drinking out of water bottles and trying to put the lids on and off.

He was a very happy camper on Sunday. We got to the races at 11am and left around 4:30pm. He only took a 20 minute nap and was a wonderful boy!

Conner loves going across the street to see our neighbors whenever they are outside. (Brooke is our neighbor)

Conner is fascinated with shiny cans. Either that or he like beer!

We had a wonderful day at the boat races. It was a long weekend because we were preparing for Conner's 1st Birthday on Monday.

Baby Brantingham #2 is on the way!!

Jay and I found out last Monday, and we had it confirmed yesterday, that Conner will be a big brother in February. We are all very excited!! We have a ultrasound scheduled in two weeks to set an actual due date but the Dr. thinks around the 20th of February.

Moses Lake Water Park

All this week Conner has been doing this fake laugh. It is hilarious! He is now crawling and pulling himself up all the time now. Jay and I are so excited and happy. We can't believe he will be one on the 27th.

My friend Amber and I took the kids to the Moses Lake water park last Thursday. We had an amazing time. The kids were great and Conner lasted without a nap till 3pm. Amber is an amazing friend so we always have a good time. I met Amber through Jay, her husband and Jay worked together and have been good friends for quite sometime.

He was so tired at the end of the day and his teeth were bugging him so I let him chew on licorice.

He could barely keep his eyes open to the car. All three kids were asleep in the truck before we even left Moses Lake.

Time to Catch Up!

Conner just went down for a nap so I get a little time to download, edit, and post pics. We went to Cusick, WA(North of Spokane) for the 4th. Jay's buddy (Uncle Buck) has a house there. We watched an amazing fireworks show that the reservation had then Jay, Buck, & Mark put on their own fireworks show. Jay got Conner HUGE sparklers, you can't start off small! Conner LOVED them. He manage to hold onto them well until he started swinging it. We managed to only put a few burn marks in the blanket and a few on my arm! Jay's mom and dad came over for dinner on Sunday night to finish out the weekend. We had a great time, Conner always enjoying seeing them!

Conner loves dogs ("puppies" is what we Conner knows them as) so we introduced him to a dog that Stephanie and Ron gave me for Christmas in college. He loved it!

This is the only thing Conner wants to do all day every day these days!!

YEAH!!! Today I was entering time cards into the computer and when I turned around our little Mister had pulled himself up on the coffee table all by himself. Yesterday morning when I went in to get him he was standing in his crib. This is a first for us and one Jay and I have been anxiously waiting for! YEAH Conner!

He was very proud of himself!

Last week we had a play date at my parents house in Ellensburg. Miss Kylie was the only girl but extremely cute and mobile as usual. I love being able to have Conner around her because I think it gets him to want to move on his own more. I am very blessed to have Jess as a friend and someone who wants to get together often. Kayla, Sydnee, Amber, Danae, and Stephanie all came too! It was so good to see everyone and to get the kids together. I am so glad that they all came and we were able to catch up. Amber had her new little guy Wyatt there, he was adorable!! And Steph was headed back to AZ the next day so it was great to see her one last time before she left.

Our first time having mac n cheese! He loved it but I didn't love trying to scrub the cheese off in the bath!!

All is well here at the Brantingham House. I am trying to get ready for Conner's first birthday! Jay is still working pretty long hours but we at least got to spend the weekend with him! Conner and Jay have both been sick with a cold this weekend/week so we are trying to take it easy. This weekend David and Pauline are helping us finish our fence, YEAH! Thank you David and Pauline. And THANK YOU David for all the hard work and hours you have put into our new home!!!
