Westport, WA

This weekend we went to Westport for Jay's Grandma's 80th Birthday. The weather was great when we got there on Friday, great when we left on Sunday, and rainy and windy on Saturday. We had a good time even with crummy weather. Conner got to see his Aunt Shaila who he hasn't seen since Christmas. We also got to see Jay's cousins Jeff and Pete who I had never met and Jay hadn't seen in years. Jay's Aunt Karen was also there. Karen and Mike live in Brazil so seeing her was a real treat!!


We had Conner layered up alot so he looked like the Michelen Man. It was windy and rainy on Saturday.

Jay fed Conner his first Oatmeal Raisin cookie while Chris(Shaila's Boyfriend) played peek-a-boo.

As you can see, Conner took a real liking to Chris this trip. Yesterday before we left Conner had a blast while Chris feed him peach puffs and made funny noises for him.

Conner crashed out on Pete's lap before dinner on Saturday night. Between family and Lilly (Grandma's dog) Conner was worn out!

On the way home, Jay and I stopped at Miner's in Yakima for dinner. Conner had his first cheeseburger. Conner has four teeth on the top and two on the bottom so he is enjoying "real" food.

We had a great weekend with Jay's family. I hope to post more pictures of the trip once I get them from Grandma Pauline and Aunt Shaila. They always take great pictures. On Saturday night Jay's Mom and Aunt presented a book to Grandma Huff for her birthday. In it were stories from her kids, grandkids, sisters, and family members. When she opened it the first story was from her husband Paul on how they met. He read it aloud and everyone was brought to tears including himself. It was so sweet to see how much he loved and cared for her to this day. They have been married for over 50 years. I hope that when Jay and I reach that age that we have as much love for each other as they do. Jay and I are blessed to have such amazing Grandparents and Conner is blessed to have Great-Grandparents!!

Easter & Time w/Daddy

This is my favorite picture! Jay bought a backpack at REI and we go on walks at night. I think Jay likes it as much as Conner. There is a mirror on the side strap so Jay can peek at Conner. Conner thinks he's playing pick-a-boo. Its very cute to watch. I am so lucky to have such handsome men!!!

Last weekend Jay took Cypress up in the hills with them to construct a shop for a customer. So on Sunday morning I went for Conner and I's morning walk and Cypress accompanied us. When we got back Conner was asleep so Cypress watched over him while I cleaned up the yard!

We have been bbq'n nightly since it has been so nice. This is Conner's favorite event of the day. He gets to be with Dad and he loves the flame!

We went to Ellensburg for Easter weekend. This is the special little ducky bath Memay got Conner. He thought it was great once he got used to it!

Conner is always very attentive when Papa talks.

Conner has really taken a liking to his Uncle Brock!!

And of course, we love our time with Memay!

Conner had a wonderful Easter basket. He was quite cute in his Easter attire.

Conner got a wind-up bee in his Easter basket. That was the highlight for him, he didn't want anything else!

Conner is very fascinated with fingers. He likes to talk to his fingers when we are in he car. It is very entertaining for me.

This weekend Jay is working in Lyle building a shop for a customer. Conner and I are just staying close to home. This morning Conner was saying "Dada" and looking all around for Jay. As I sat and looked at Conner this morning, I have so much to be thankful for. I have a healthy and beautiful little boy. Whenever we go somewhere, someone is always telling us what a happy and cute little boy we have. Jay and I are so lucky. And I am lucky to have what I think is the perfect little family.

First Bike Ride

Yesterday Jay attached Conner's "chair" to the back of his bike! Conner had a blast. It was so cute!! Jay's dad was here yesterday working on our garage too!! Conner always loves to see his Grandpa!

I haven't got a real good picture yet, but Conner's top two front teeth are in!!

Conner and I played in the front yard yesterday while Jay cleaned my car and his truck. It was 70 here yesterday and is suppose to be warmer today!!

Our New Home!

Jay and I have really enjoyed having the business away from our home. I love being a stay at home mom with little ties to the business! Jay is enjoying being able to drive to and from work!

Happy Easter to everyone!! Jay, Conner, and I will be headed to spend Easter with Memay & Papa in Ellensburg. Conner was very lucky to spend the majority of last week playing with Memay! I had two dentist appointments so Memay came and stayed with us!!

Next Stages of Eating!

Conner had his first "real meal" of baby food. We have graduated to stage 3 baby food. So for dinner on Saturday night Jay, Mike, and I had Spagetti and Meatballs while Conner had the same!(Except Gerber made Conners meal)

Saturday Conner got his first hair style with product. We did a mowhawk with a little hairspray. He looked quite grown up!!

Conner loves chewing and stuffing his bath starfish in his mouth!

On Friday night I catered a party for my cousin in Yakima. Jay and Conner went with me and Jay fed Conner cherrios while I baked the dishes!

Conner and I went to Ellenburg last Wednesday. I went and got my hair cut while Conner got to bounce in his new bouncer at Memay and Papa's. We had a great trip!

This week we are moving into our new house. We are very excited to move away from the business and to start a new daily schedule! We get the keys on Wednesday and we will start moving Wed. & Thursday! YEAH!!

Bubble Baths and Peas!!

Last night Conner had his first bubble bath!! He was totally into it!! (And YES Aunt Jane, he ate the bubbles and drank the bath water!)

Saturday Conner crashed out on Jay.....Jay misses when he was younger and did this every night!

Conner had peas today for lunch! He is fighting a little cold but that didn't stop him from chowing down!!
