Memorial Weekend

This weekend Jay is working all weekend so we are very limited in our activities. Last night, our friends Jessica & Ryan and their little girl Kylie came over for a BBQ. We had an awesome time. The kids were hilarious together and it was great to see them.

We had leftover giant sparklers from the 4th last year so we let the kids enjoy them. Conner was somewhat into it and Kylie wasn't quite sure. It might have been that it was past bedtimes and the kids were getting tired.

Jay BBQ'd steaks and shrimp. Conner decided he wanted to eat Jay's dinner and chew on the steak. He was quite proud of himself. I was a little worried but at least he didn't get much off.
Jay and I both wished Jess and Ryan lived closer. We have a ton of fun with them and enjoy their friendship alot. We hope everyone has a safe and fun memorial day weekend!

Jack Jay

My little man is getting so big!!! He will be three months next week and the time is flying by.  Jack is so much stronger than what Conner was at this age.  Jay is positive he will be walking before he is one.  We have finally started to get into a routine with the boys and things are starting to settle down.

Conner wasn't so happy that I put Jack in his chair.  We are definitely learning how to share and be nice about it!

Backyard

Two years ago right before Conner was born, Jay started to work on an area by our house that we hoped someday would be a great backyard for Conner.  Right before we moved to our other home we had a fence put in and seeded for grass.
This is the yard today.  I just finished mowing and was able to plant all my planters this past weekend.  Yeah, we are so happy with how it turned out.  Thanks for all the hard work Dear and thank you David for all your hard work and dedication to helping us!!!

These are my metal flowers we got on a trip to Idaho last summer.  I can't wait to go back and get more.   My mom has a great "recipe"  for planting pots with gorgeous flowers.  This will be my first year using her layout.  Thanks mom!!!

Jay had the guys build this piece of rod iron to keep Conner in the backyard and Cypress out.  It turned out gorgeous and works great.  We are loving our completed backyard, Conner loves it as well.  Jay still plans to build Conner a swing set.  We look forward to getting alot of use out of the yard this summer.

Our Little Man is Growing Up

Conner has been quite the character this week.  Daddy put his Brazilian underwear on him and he was totally into it.  He posed and ran around like a crazy man.  It was hilarious.  Yesterday morning I gave him a bath and used his froggy towel.  For the first time he was lovin being a frog.  And then last night Jay took him swimming in his new swim suit.  We had to try so hard not to laugh so that he wouldn't fight it.  After this photo we took him outside and played to distract him until it was time to leave.  He is quite the character these days!  He is also growing up so fast!

Thursday night Jay and I decided to BBQ Polish dogs.  When I got them out to cook Conner grabbed this one off the counter and licked it.  I said uckies and he looked at me, put his lips together and said, "mmmm, yummy!"  Crazy kid.  Jay isn't fond of the picture, I think its hilarious!
Yesterday I was cleaning the kitchen floor when all of the sudden both boys were silent.  I came out in the living room to find both boys asleep.  Jack, with his head covered in his blankie and Conner standing at Daddy's chair.  He was watching Max and Ruby when he feel asleep.  What cute little boys I have!

This Week has been quite eventful.  Monday we signed for the sale of our house, Tuesday we got the funds and gave the keys to the new owners before we headed to the ER, Conner got into Tylenol and we didn't know if he ate any or not.  Luckily when they did blood work there was none in his system.  Since we are moving I hadn't clipped the cupboards yet, now they are!!  Wednesday Jay got sick.  Thursday, Jay was still sick and Conner didn't take a nap so we were all exhausted.  Friday, my friend Kim watched the boys so I could run a few errands.  And today, well, I hope it is very uneventful.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Moving

This past weekend we moved our final things from the Canyon Rim house. My mom watched the boys Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning so Jay and I could get it done with no interruptions. We had a pretty low-key evening with the boys!(above)

Sunday we picked the boys up from Cal & Erin's. Right before we left Cal was chasing Conner. Conner ran into Mac's room and the next thing we heard was crying. We are not sure what he hit but he had an instant black egg on his forehead.

Conner's new nigh time activity is to color in the bath tub. I got him Crayola bath time markers that are great. On Saturday morning I woke up to Conner laughing, when I found him he had gotten the orange marker and had colored the whole outside of the tube. Thank Goodness they are washable!

On our way home from moving a load Jay and I stopped and got Conner a pool. As soon as he got in Cypress wanted in. Conner was covered in dog hair and smelled like wet dog for the remainder of the evening!

Mud Puddle

Two weeks ago Conner really played hard in a mud/gravel puddle outside our garage. It was the funniest thing. He enjoyed splashing for about 15 minutes then he decided it was even better to sit right in the middle of the puddle and splash with his arms!!!

Mother's Day Weekend

My mom, the boys Memay, came to Pasco on Friday to help me with the boys while I got the house situated from the move. It was a huge blessing to me and Conner was so excited because Memay got to sleep with him in his room. Since we moved back out to the farm we only have to bedrooms until the offices move out of the other side of the house. Mother's Day Jay had to work so my mom and I just hung out with the boys and went to the hospital to visit my sister.

Memay tried to convince Conner to hold Jack while she got Conner a sippy cup. He was all for it.
Conner has become quite the big brother to Jack over the past two weeks. Its hilarious, when I am changing Conner's diaper or doing something and Jack is crying in the other room I usually semi-yell to Jack that mommies coming. Now Conner yells "Coming" whenever Jack cries!

This was Friday night after a long week of moving. Jay is very happy to have the boys back out a the farm. Conner and him go on a four-wheeler ride almost everyday. The one adjustment I have had to make is more laundry, dirtier laundry, and dirtier kids! Gotta love farm life!! I am excited to be at our farm house as well, it was the first home Jay and I had and the home we brought Conner to. It felt like we had never left.

Mac has arrived!

Baby Mac arrived May 11th at 5:13pm. He was 6lbs and 18 inches long. He is very healthy and so is Erin. We were all very excited to meet him. He is gorgeous and has alot of dark hair. I think he looks like his Grandpa Phil. Conner is starting to get confused. He is starting to call Jack Mac and vis-versa. He loves them both alot.

Jack and Conner's first cousin and now I am an Aunt, YEAH!!! I get to return the favor of pumping him up on pop and sugar soon!!! Jack was 13+ pounds at his two month checkup!

The difference of two months and two pounds at birth weight!

The three Alderman Grandbabies!!!
Congratulations Erin and Cal, he is beautiful and we love him lots!!
We have been moving so I am sorry it has taken me so long to post. Lots more to come....

Weekend at Papa & Memay's

Memay & her boys

Conner loves sitting in his high chair at Memay's!

Conner and his apples! He ate three while he was at Memay's, we make him sit in chair when he eats them.
Jay and Jack chillin while Memay played outside with Conner on Sunday morning.

Memay got "Uncle Bocks" baseballs out to play with.

PJ's and converse. Conner is always stylin!

Papa put together a "bike" for Conner to ride when he visits.

Not only did Papa build the bike but he took Conner outside to explore the backyard and he gave Conner a ride in his Tailor Dunn. Conner had a blast with Papa this visit. He kept going around the house saying.."Papa" and repeating it until he found him.

I am blessed to have such an amazing mom, she changed every single diaper of Jacks and almost all Conner's diapers. It was a great break for me. She even stayed up with Jack so Conner and I could go to bed early and she got up with him in the night.

Conner has quite the assortment of toys at Memay & Papa's. The majority of them are Uncle Brock's toys from when he was little.
The boys and I went to my parents on Saturday morning. Conner and I went to lunch with my friend Jessica and her daughter Kylie. Jess and I went to an "At Home America" party put on by our friend Kayla. My mom watched all the kids. Jay went to Royal City to work with Jessica's husband, Ryan, for the day. They moved bulls and rode horses. Jay had a great time working at the Ranch. We all had dinner at my parents later that night. It was a busy weekend. Thank you Papa & Memay for a wonderful weekend, we love you lots!!! As I am sitting here typing Conner is looking at the pictures and saying "Memay"?!
